Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2022 Day 19

Day 19 of NaNoWriMo, and I finished my quota early today.

After yesterday's venture to get a day ahead, I just focused on writing a day's worth today. At some points, it was hard to push through writer's block, but I was able to write a lot of dialogue and action for Book 1. More specifically, I wrote a big part of the final climax and the events leading up to it, which made it more satisfying. I even thought up a plot point that helped my heroes figure out why the villain is doing what they're doing, which is always so satisfying to figure out.

I can't believe there are only ten days left of NaNoWriMo, but I'm excited to hit my word goal before Thanksgiving hopefully. Fingers crossed!

How do you feel about Your Work?: Good! I'm happy that I figured out more of Book 1's villain's psychology. This will be so helpful when it comes to finishing the rest of the book.

Something Fun that Happened Today: Watching Eureka and playing the Sims. My Rags-to-Riches sims are pregnant again. Yeah! (You spot that sarcasm! So many babies. Ugh)
