Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2023 Day 26
Day 26 of NaNoWriMo, and Pinterest is playing with my life.
For some reason, Pinterest is trying not to let me organize the sections of my WIP board, and it's making so much extra work for me. I have to go in and reorder everything one by one to change the information, making it harder for me to get brainstorming.
With the short stories, I really want them to be quick stories that are filled with heart. When you write a short story, it's hard to get people to care about the characters because you spend so little time with them, so I really want to focus on making the characters lovable and making their love stories sweet. One of the characters I'm most excited about will have her story at the end but be part of other stories along the way to make her story more powerful. Also, there is one story that will be interspersed throughout the anthology because I found that I really enjoy it when anthologies do this cause it makes me love the characters more.
