Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2022 Day 1

Day 1 of NaNoWriMo and we've made great headway on our journey. I have already brain-dumped all the content I could think of for Books 1 and 2. I stopped myself from going too far into Book 3 to keep myself from burning out.

I actually reached the 1,667-word goal at 1:38 am, and I was so happy about that because that meant I could focus on doubling my word count for the rest of the day and get ahead. Because I know there will be a day when I don't want to write anything. So I want to get as ahead as I can when it comes to word count so I can be lazy on later days this month.

Overall, day one was a success. May the rest of the days be as fruitful.
