Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2022 Day 15

Day 15 of NaNoWriMo, and we are officially halfway through NaNoWriMo, which is crazy to think about.

Even crazier to think about is the fact that I have set out the chapters for three books. That's right! Books 1, 2, and 3 have all their chapter plans in place. This means I have an idea of what I'm doing in each chapter from beginning to end. Full disclosure, I did not write a bit in each chapter, some are blank, but I'm using these as place markers to signify that I want something happening between two events. I'm doing this mostly because while I want my books to be fast-paced, that doesn't mean I want everything to come easy to my characters.

So today, I'm proud of the work that I've done, and I'm still really excited to be writing this series, which is always a plus for an author.

Total Words Logged: 30,428

How do you feel about Your Work?: Great! I've planned out the chapters for Books 1 to 3, and I'm proud of that progress. Now I just have to go back and fill in the blanks.

Something Fun that Happened Today: I finished making a Dark Academia rental home in the Sims, and I'm obsessed with it and the story I made for it!

A Song on My Mind: Unsaid Emily by Charlie Gillespie (I'm still not over Julie and the Phantoms being canceled. A CRIME!)

Currently Reading: Flawless, My Dear by Duchess Wibberfluffe

Something you want to do Tomorrow: Continue making Chapters for Books 8, 9 and 10
