Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2023 Day 18

Day 18 of NaNoWriMo, and it's over.

Today was my Uncle's funeral, and we made it.

It was definitely emotional, and I did cry, but we made it through the day, and I was just happy to see my family on my dad's side. It's just sad that much of this year has been us coming together at funerals. Our biggest goal for the next year is to do some sort-of family event together that is actually fun for us.

I journaled out my feelings at the end of the day, and it helped a lot.

I'm probably going to do this for one more day before I try to do something story-related.
