Author’s Log: NaNoWriMo 2022 Day 30
Day 30 of NaNoWriMo, and we're done!
I can finally write without a mandatory word count again. It's okay to do it once a month during the year, but I can't handle it every single day at the moment.
I'm going to do a whole retrospective post soon about all my feelings about this year's challenge, but all I feel right now is the relief of being done. It can be very stressful to put this much pressure on yourself to get things like this done, but I think the result is worth it. They say that pressure makes diamonds, right?
Now, while I did not finish a book during this challenge, I still made significant progress with the series as a whole. I finally brain-dumped my ideas, which helped me get a lot of stuff out that I've been contemplating with this series. Also, I am more than halfway done with the first book, which I think is a big success because I usually don't ever get that far with NaNoWriMo.
Overall, I'm happy with the work that I've done, and I'm still excited to continue everything I started this month.
